I am a retired firefighter/paramedic with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. My many opportunities and experiences in the fire service, as an emergency medical technician and then as a paramedic, have taught me many valuable skills that could be useful in the ED setting.
Also, I am currently pursuing my A.S.N. degree at Florida State College at Jacksonville. My ultimate goal is to gain additional knowledge in the emergency department side of emergency medicine and ultimately become an R.N. at St. Vincent's Healthcare.
Maintain detailed knowledge in emergency medical care and control of other emergency situations.
Ensuring that personnel are trained in various tasks, skills, and situations.
