transferred Fire fighter, respond to various different calls including car accidents, medical emergencies, trees and wires down, incidents at the state park, Structure fires, a tornado incident. perform training such as air pack, drafting water, dry hydrant flushing, running pumps. working with fellow firefighters to obtain the goal of serving our community.

Assist trades generalists on day to day repairs around the facility, plumbing, electrical, snow removal to include plowing, shoveling, salting, snowplowing. summer time asst outside with mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, asst in HVAC and other activities around the campus, in addition started as a cleaner worked my way to the FOA1, to maintenance assistant performing cleaning jobs sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing floors and assisting other maintenance workers

transferred Due to living closer to Westernville, highly respected firefighter from FLoyd and still to this day. started as a probationary firefighter, went to Firefighter, worked my way up the ranks to a Lieutenant achieved in 2010 to Captain achieved in 2014. performed various duties as helping with cleaning of the firehouse, washing trucks, rolling up Hose lines, flushing hydrants, working hydrants at fire scenes, helping with hose lines at doors or residents of fires, going in interior to fires with air packs, working fully involved fires ( barns, houses, cars, businesses ) responding to mutual aid incidents with my dept. working Carbon Monoxide calls. helping and aiding with medical calls. working with cutting cars, stabilization backboarding, transporting and aiding and running car accident scenes, Rapid intervention team ( RIT ) training and working on scenes. working fish fries, barn fests, chicken bbqs, field days, fire prevention for children in school. numerous training hrs starting in 2001 to current, with certificates as well as awards such as Firefighter of the yr - 2013 new member award in 2003 and others for work in the dept and Being an Eagle scout.
