Nearly 20 years’ experience in leadership, management, and program management as an active duty Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant, as well as Fitness Program Management Specialist. Honorably discharged Veteran with previous assignments in Infantry units with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. During this period, I conducted squad level, Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) training maneuvers for all deploying USAREUR and NATO forces; responsible for the health, welfare, morale, training, professional development, and tactical employment of eight Soldiers; responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and operational readiness of equipment, valued more than $1,500,000. Additionally, I earned a master’s degree in management with a specialty is Acquisition and Supply Chain Management. This comprehensive degree has prepared me to apply the legal structure for public and private acquisition processes, use technology effectively to establish sustainable supply chains that support product and service delivery, as well as apply knowledge of efficient contract management processes throughout the acquisition life cycle. In addition to these unique skill sets, the specialty in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management facilitates my ability to interpret the Federal Acquisitions Regulation Universal Commercial Code, as it relates to acquisitions and American Bar Association model procurement codes for state and local governments, as well as plan, conduct, and manage negotiated procurement. Finally, this unique specialization enables me to perform cost analysis preparations to understand all categories of costs including profit, applying strategic purchasing and logistics methodologies to conduct supply chain management case studies and simulations of material flows to optimize supply chains.
