Summary
Ever since high school I have had a passion to helping and supporting youth and wanting to make a difference one day. When I started working at metro kids I have tried my hardest to help make sure every kid and staff I come across feel like they are special and heard. Since coming to Ellipsis in 2021 I have stepped up what i thought i could do to help out and realized my reach to the youth could change so much then just part of there day and can actually build a mentorship and a role model for a lifetime. When i became a supervisor two years later my position changed buy my goal for the youth never changed. I was putting in more time with escalations and day to day issues small ore big but all helped me grow as a person and a leader. No matter how crazy or out of hand some situations may get i have always been able to adjust and still make sure youth and staff are safe. I enjoy fast paced environments but also can slow down and take my time with someone or issue and im willing to help in any problem that I can support.

- Supervised daily operations to ensure quality with standards and safety protocols to provide to the youth and staff i work with everyday!
- Trained and mentored new staff on procedures and best practices at the shelter to help ensure a smooth transaction when coming over. I take intake for new youth and make sure document in the systems of any new clients in the shelter
- Conducted performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback for team development and self reflection!
- Help provided basic necessities to youth and make sure they have a clean environment and help coordinate appointments and school runs thought the day to make sure all youth get to there destination on time!
- Experience with deescalating situations and youth, getting them at baseline and to start the next steps. I build healthy relationships with the youth to ensure im prepared for any explosive or combative occurrence.
