I am adept at developing and implementing effective strategies to address the needs of diverse populations, oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of social service programs. My interpersonal skills and professional relationship with individuals I service and coworkers is how I create a work environment that allows me to strive. My path in life has brought me down a road where I have a commitment to advocating for social justice and promoting positive change from a micro to macro level.   • Responsible for supporting and maintaining all services provided by the agency, including the intake process, provision of services, and maintain documentation for individuals in Specialized Foster Care (SFC), Desert Regional Center (DRC), Department of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS), and Clinical Programs for Mental Health and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR).
  • Trained in medication management by MAGEN and distributed medication to clients in group homes.
  • Manage staff and individuals in group homes, day programs, and case management for foster youth and developmental disabilities, while providing on-call support for crisis intervention, staffing needs, and support.
  • Write habilitation and behavior plans for individuals based on their target behaviors, antecedents, effective proactive/reactive strategies, and document data to improve plans and progress towards clients desired outcome.
  • Complete Functional Assessments and The Child and Adolescent Service intensity Instrument (CASII) for clients when needed to determine risk levels and capabilities, in collaboration with qualified mental health professionals.
  • Train new and current staff based on the requirements from for the Department of Family Services and Desert Regional Center.   • Assist with monitoring and evaluating the efficiency of services, staff assignments, ensuring compliance with Aging Disability and Service Department, DFS, Medicaid, and other oversight agency standards and policies including completing weekly file audits.
