Summary

I take pride in working and strive for greatness in whatever my job may be. Through trial and error I was able to organize my friends into an effective virtual business while maintaining good grades even though I was just a high school student. I kept people wanting to work for me by being calm, reasonable, firm, and showing them I had a vision for the future. This took me staying up many nights working on my business and homework putting aside personal time to succeed which took a lot of grit. I work great with others and am able to communicate and act as a leader while organizing well. I am great at dealing with the public and maintained good relations with customers while working at Giant Foods, putting their needs first as well as being flexible and willing to do what others were not. The best way to contact me would be to send me a text or give me a call. The email provided is my school email because it is the email I currently check the most, however I have an alternative email that I do not regularly check which is Jack@knerler.com

  • I Learned invaluable skills in customer service and dealing with the public and keeping healthy relationships. I had a lot of customers that would only come to me when checking out because I was polite, fast, and efficient and always went out of my way to help them with whatever it was they needed. Some of the older ladies would bring me donuts and other sweets as a sign of appreciation for my help, kindness and consideration.
  • I worked with my managers well and was always willing to help wherever I was needed. I worked almost every department in the store including Produce, Checkout (Including self checkout), Seafood, Online Pickup, and the Meat Department. My managers liked to move me around because I am able to learn quickly, keep calm while under pressure and work with others well while always taking my work seriously and being flexible with my scheduling.

At 15 years old I began working on creating a virtual business on an online gaming platform called Roblox. The website has currency transferable to real money and an economy that mirrors that of the real world. I started completely from scratch and I was able to build up a clothing group. It took a lot of grit and good marketing to grow my group but as of right now passively, it has sold 1134 virtual clothing items to real people in the past year alone and continues to grow, currently sitting at around 550 members in our virtual group. I was also the partial owner of a virtual social club where I ran day-to-day operations with a staff of real people who sat at around 10 to 20 people. I would brief them before every shift we did, oversee operations, and manage the group's finances (though managing it only involved statements of cash flows). Our servers capped at around 100 people and we regularly filled them at our peak. We profited in various ways such as selling VIP access to a special area on the 2nd floor, private meeting areas, and lounges, as well as by hosting parties for larger groups.
