John Sydnor has been successful for over two decades working both domestically and internationally with enterprises specializing in new business development, marketing technology, revenue acceleration, and advanced analytics.
John has been successful building and participating in high-performing organizations in the midst of rapid growth periods, and/or industry paradigm shifts while engendering the respect and loyalty from those with whom he has been missioned with leading and collaborating. He has consistently maximized sales, profits, market share, employee morale and stakeholder value.
Functionally, John has gained extensive expertise in building new sales/marketing teams, go-to-market strategies, efficacious demand generation models, extraordinary customer relationship management best practices, and organizational realignment to provide a foundation for accretive operational revenue.
He has applied these skills leading teams in industries spanning marketing technology, advertising, pharmaceutical/life sciences, insurance and finance. John has unique experience spanning from early stage startups (pre-IPO) to Fortune 20 organizations such as IBM, Oracle, Apple Computer, Publicis, Morgan Stanley and various emerging technology firms where he has led efforts in digital marketing, technology consulting, data analytics, predictive modeling, and digital asset management.
Mr. Sydnor also has extensive financial experience having worked in investment banking, wealth management and leadership positions at a hedge fund and private equity firm earning various FINRA license certifications (Series 7, 24, 31, 53, 63, 65, 66 and 79).
Mr. Sydnor graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI) with a Bachelor degree in General Studies with concentrations in Economics and Computer Science, and a Master in Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University (Evanston, IL).
Currently, John is a senior enterprise sales executive for Medallia, a digital services and customer experience (CX) technology firm and lives in Columbus, Ohio where he resides with his wife Mara, and adult children Hayden and Mackenzie.
