Worked closely with executive staff and departmental decision makers to identify, recommend, develop and implement cost-effective technology solutions.

Key achievements include:

• Coordinate End-User device setups including nationwide distribution.
• Initiate/Deploy MS Azure Resources, Autopilot, EndPoint, and SharePoint.

Position was created at the request of Greg Norman, derived from our relationship while a consultant. Tasked with leading the overhaul, implementation, and management of technology across six (6) separate operating businesses, aside from personal. Such functions include corporate, marketing, design, finance, entertainment, hospitality, estate, marine, vendor and contractor relations, business analytics, digital and media rights, along with personal demands.

Key achievements include:

• Formalized the role of "Director of IT" through principals, technology prowess, and a relentless pursuit of excellence across all businesses.
• Analyzing/Coordinating/Implementing a meaningful complete hardware/software overhaul of insufficient technology org-wide.
• Analyzed department and job-related functionality requirements to align technology priorities with business needs.
• Effectively reducing org-wide IT expenses (~20%) while increasing end-user satisfaction year over year. Primarily through increased adoption of current subscriptions/services to full offerings.
• Empowering and educating users on purposeful change, and demonstrating the benefits through trial with advocates of pilot programs.
• Initiated and coordinated the implementation of new data security measures org-wide focused around Microsoft Azure, Security Suite, and SharePoint hardened practices.
• Designed and Deployed numerous progressive systems such as access controls, Azure AD, Azure VM, MS Intune/Endpoint and MS Power Bi.
• Designed and Deployed end-to-end network infrastructure systems org-wide.
• Developed and implemented technical application support and information technology policies and procedures. Thus, advancing investment needs, outcomes and performance measurements to balance continuous innovation with responsible risk-taking.

As a first year teacher, some may say it would be the toughest year. Personally, this was not the case as my primary purpose was to "give back" my time and knowledge when engaged by a board-member. Although the course-work preparation, district requirements, administrative tests, and paperwork proved to be tedious at times, this was the "toughest" part. However, as the saying goes "Work Hard, Play Hard". The approach and rapport became increasingly evident through continuous recognition for the unprecedented scores my students achieved on their AP and Industry Certification exams. Whilst receiving an overwhelming response by both colleagues and students from their experiences with me.

Other first year accomplishments include:

• Establishing the "Drone Racing Club" and being sponsored by the DRL.
• Continued sponsor and increased participation for the "Game & Simulation Club"
• Board-selected for a newly formed county-wide initiative dubbed "PASL" (Personalization through Academic & Social Learning)

Areas of technology that were taught and incorporated include: Robotics/Drones, Game Design and Programming, VR/Augmented Reality, Hacking/Cyber Security, and Artificial Intelligence as time and curriculum permitted.

Directed IT services, counseled executives and collaborated with senior management of numerous businesses on overall strategic planning.

Responsibilities also included:

• Maintaining senior level expertise and proficiency in industry leading information management technologies.
• Providing senior level programming/debug as required.
• Providing process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments.
• Providing database design, development, and enhancement, as well as supervision and coordination of changes to existing applications.
• Providing technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement.
• Providing business/user needs analysis, business area assessment, and business systems design when needed.
• Providing oversight and mentorship for intermediate and junior level staff, while developing quality solutions.

Developed and implemented campus-wide IT execution strategies, aligning work orders at numerous locations, while effectively utilizing available resources in relation to historical service data.

Additional responsibilities included:

• Responsible for upholding/updating Apple/PC computers, servers, and websites such as: CoralGladesHigh.com, BrowardSchoolsBusiness.com, among others.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse dataset and functions.
• Responsible for all technology related inventory and licensing, as well as purchasing.
• Responsible for implementing/stress-testing infrastructure security.
• Responsible for upholding telecom systems such as Avaya, Cisco, and FlexiCom.

• Conducted training in the DYSIM and ERTSS simulators.
• Responsible for learning all of MIA Airspace and Sectors, as well as procedures.

Due to the sensitive nature of the FAA and its policies, I held and are still eligible for a CFCL, and SSBI clearance

• Repair/Troubleshoot computers, servers, printers, and monitors.

• Designed, implemented, and tested Intranet software and security.
• Installed network components such as switches, routers, access points and printers.
