Engineering Capstone Project
Developed an adaptive baseball pitching machine with a team to assist a client with disabilities who coaches his own team. The device was designed to be fully controllable via Bluetooth, utilizing hand and head movements and voice recognition technology. Created CAD models for machining and 3D printing, and conducted SolidWorks simulations to validate the design. Built a prototype, tested it with the client, and iterated based on feedback before delivering the final product. Presented the completed project to the capstone panel, demonstrating its functionality.
