I have over 3 years working in the warehouse positions and I could say my experience in this roles as been fair so far. I haven’t worked retail but would like to enter into this line of work because I I believe I have great communication skills and the ability to endure in the public scene. Working at Amazon I was able to work different positions including packing, water spider, and unloading trucks. My main position at Amazon was packing. They would time and examine how many packages u would be able to pack in a minute. At FedEx, I have been working as a package handler the whole journey. I have only worked on the unload side of the warehouse. I have lifted up to 120 lbs boxes by hand and transferred them to on going carts or rails. I have also worked as a tugger driver at this warehouse. I had the opportunity to drive the carts carrying any box that can’t be transferred on the regular conveyor across the warehouse to its rightful place. Overall the experiences at both warehouses have been adequate and very informational as I continue on my journey of finding more opportunities.
