Work History

EVANGELICAL BAPTIST CHURCH OF THE PENA OF HOREB

CHURCH THAT GAVE ME CHRISTIAN GROWTH MY FIRST 17 Y
SAN FELIX , BOLIVAR
07.1975 - 08.1991
  • I was born in this church, and it was where I began my Christian life. I had the opportunity to participate in all the Sunday school processes from the cradle, spend my childhood in Sunday school, vacation Bible schools, and participate in summer camps from the age of 8 until I was 18. I was able to participate in youth societies from the age of 13 and in youth associations where Bible competitions and sports competitions were held among all the churches.

Ebenezer Bible Institute

STUDENT
SAN CRISTOBAL , TACHIRA
09.1991 - 07.1995
  • I studied at this Theological Institution, and at the same time, because I had some musical knowledge, I was able to serve as a supporting music director for the Biblical Institute's music quintets, choirs, and musical groups. At the same time, I studied at the Tachira State Music School, MIGUEL ANGEL ESPINEL, where I studied classical guitar, piano, theory and music theory, opera singing, and other subjects at the Music School. At the same time, I graduated from the Biblical Institute in 1995 with a degree in Arts Teaching (Music).

BETHEL EVANGELICAL CHURCH

MINISTER OF MUSIC
SAN FELIX , BOLIVAR
06.1996 - 07.2009
  • I had the opportunity to be the music minister at this church, which had a membership of between 400 and 600. The musical seasons were considered very high-level, with Resurrection Cantatas and Christmas songs performed during Holy Week and Christmas. I organized youth concerts, vocal festivals, and directed evangelistic theaters, which were truly blessed learning experiences over the years.

EMMANUEL SCHOOL

TEACHER MUSIC
SAN FELIX , BOLIVAR
10.1996 - 06.2014
  • At this school, I was a choir teacher, a band teacher, a teacher of the Navidenos Gaiteros group, and a teacher of the Children's White Voices group. I organized internal festivals at Emmanuel School and organized graduations for fifth-year high school students, among other activities that took place regularly throughout the school year.

FRANCISCO GUEDEZ COLMENARES EDUCATIONAL UNIT

CULTURAL TEACHER
BELLA VISTA , BOLIVAR
02.2001 - 06.2014
  • At this public institution, I was able to work with the children and young people of the institution. It was a low-income institution, but we were able to work with great talents despite not having many resources. We managed to develop children's choirs, groups, or student groups of musical instruments such as the flute, the cuatro, maracas, the gaita drum, the charrasca, etc.

CANZION INSTITUTE (FOUNDER MARCOS WITT)

TEACHER MUSIC
PUERTO ORDAZ VENEZUELA , BOLIVAR
07.2013 - 06.2014
  • A great opportunity awaited me when I was invited to the Canzion Institute as a music teacher. I was able to work first as a piano teacher, then as a singing teacher, and then as a music theory teacher and director of the musical ensemble class for the graduating students.

  • participated in an event called "SAVE THE FAMILY." Evangelist Alberto Motessi was the speaker. This event was held in a stadium for four days, and each day the stadium was filled with more than 15,000 people. It was a time when many souls were converted to the Lord. I participated as a musician and second director of praise and worship.

GOODWILL TOUR

  • An event where I was invited as an organizer by the University of Vienna (Austria) and a piano professor from the United States to tour my home country, Venezuela.
I organized this tour in my home country, Venezuela, where we were able to work with the press and television, as well as with the symphonic orchestral movement of Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela. Classes were given during those weeks in lyrical singing, jazz singing, and classical guitar, and the event concluded with a choir and orchestra event featuring Christian songs, with most of the participants in attendance. It was an event that helped the vast community of Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela (more than 1,000 people attended) and the media.

MUSICAL TOUR IN EUROPE

  • The leaders of the University of Vienna invited Johnny Lopez to Europe to organize a group that would be known in Germany, France, and Austria, visiting several cities and performing in various locations in these countries. The group they brought from Venezuela stood out in many places, especially with their cultural, contemporary, and religious music. One of the best events took place in the theater of a prestigious music school in Austria, where the group made a name for itself thanks to its excellent integration into the musical genres it presented.

MINISTER OF MUSIC AT THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE (GARDEN CITY - 2014-2024)

  • Since 2014, God gave him the opportunity to come to the United States and spend a few weeks in Chicago. He participated in several Christian churches, developing evangelism and using music as his primary tool, holding several services and teaching presentations to several young people who were a blessing to part of this city.

Later, he came to Garden City and supported several Hispanic churches in the area. He noticed that the musical level wasn't very strong, so he began giving private music lessons. He was supported by the First Church of the Nazarene in Garden City, which was excellent and gave him the opportunity to teach at several Hispanic churches that were interested at the time.

To this day, in the areas of Garden, Liberal, Dodge, and Wichita, he still teaches music to those who have been particularly interested. He has brought together musicians with special knowledge of the Churches of the Nazarene, organizing an annual praise and worship service called DAY OF GRACE, bringing together the leading talent from each church where the name of Jesus Christ has been glorified, with attendances ranging from 300 to 600 people. This event has been going on for four years and has been a blessing to all the congregations and churches of this denomination.
