I started with Home Depot in Madison, TN as a part time lumber sales associate. Shortly after getting the building released to us from the contractors the General Manager came down with appendicitis and was out of work until after the store opened. I lead the team of 150 to complete the store opening in one of the shortest times ever accomplished.

I was always successful in everything I did working there. Home Depot was a company that could teach you everything you needed to know about being a Manager, managing multiple departments inside one box. I left Home Depot to pursue a career as a General Manager.
