Crossover Ministries is a student-led service club, working with the Lee University Food Bank, to travel neighborhood-to-neighborhood, and house-to-house, to offer food and hygiene supplies to the less-fortunate residents in Cleveland, Tennessee, seeking to build relationships with all those encountered. As Co-president of the club, I was responsible for arriving first to set up the Food Bank, welcoming and hosting the sign-in station, corralling volunteers and delivering the weekly message, directing and instructing the flow of work in storing, organizing, and packing food bank supplies, and leading a route of my own.

Worked on a team of five adults to lead high school students on Tuesday and Sunday nights into a time of worship and small group discussions.

• Boys Camp Retreat Leader, Cincinnati Christian Junior and Senior High School, 07/29/19-08/02/19

Worked on a team of four adults in taking a group of high school boys to Tennessee to camp, hike, raft, and realign values and virtues. Monitored the boys’ safety, taught lessons, and facilitated activities.

Served with a church in Jamaica in facilitating, coaching, and directing a basketball camp. Taught and demonstrated basic skills, provided and patrolled basketball socks and shoes, coached my own teams daily, engaged in nightly pick-up scrimmages, and built valuable relationships.

Served with a church in Mexico to help residents of the surrounding community in making, hauling, and laying concrete flooring inside dirt-floor houses. Re-painted the church walls and traveled around the community providing goods to residents and praying over them.
