  • Objective: Refurbish a Wave Stablization Meter so that it performs at OEM specifications.
  • Environmental Health and Safety: Understands proper PPE.
  • Job Duties: Carefully set the WSM on the WSM alignment stand, secure the WSM to the alignment stand, Connect the power meter to the power head, set the wavelength, set the energy, set the Rep Rate, and record the LAMBDA CAL values. Power Calibration check the power meter, set the voltmeter. oscilloscope readings, verify coarse and fine timing and record on traveler.
  • Performing assembly the laser bottom chamber: (1st) Installed scroll vane with 8-32x3/16 bh, torque with 20lbs. (2nd) Installed machine fan, rotor magnet, driver cup, O ring, and pressure cup on each side of the fan. (3rd) Installed heat exchanger with O ring, spring, screws 10-32x3/4 torque with 65lbs. Performing install outside hardware such as a chamber temperature transducer, pressure transducer, gas injector, and gauge pressure. When is completed with the laser bottom chamber assembly the next step is to performing assembly the top laser chamber, after the laser top chamber is completed, then close up the top, and bottom laser chamber together, then performing do the helium leak test, after passed the helium test then bake the chamber for a 3days.
