I am an experienced construction superintendent with 30+ years of commercial/industrial experience including public and private, with extensive qualifications across all essential project management functions including, subcontractor coordination, cost control, and client relations.
Prior to joining ACC, I was an on-site project representative for ACC's associated company, ABM Group. I have a demonstrated success in providing operational oversight of several of ABM's owner's project representative projects; scope of responsibilities has include the coordination and monitoring of construction operations at all levels with a focus on ensuring adherence to quality standards, exacting design specifications, budgetary constraints, and mission-critical deadlines.
As ACC's Project Superintendent, my duties involve:
- Serve as a main focal point to manage workflow, troubleshoot emerging problems, and facilitate communications with subcontractor, architects/engineering-design representatives, and client representatives.
- Mitigate the occurrence of subcontractor conflicts by providing daily review and coordination of schedules for all interior and exterior work. Ensure the timely and accurate execution fo evolving change orders.
- Plan and conduct safety meeting to address site issues, convey project-specific directives, and to ensure crew compliance with company policies/procedures and OSHA mandates. Monitor crew operations throughout all construction phases.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to document daily progress by all subcontractors and to supply updates on issues with the potential to impact corporate cost exposure.
