· Screening of new admissions and re admissions of residents
· Conducts group trainings for staff, residents and family members’ education regarding infection control program under the guidelines of CDC and World Health Organization
· Responsible for outbreak containment by creating mitigation plans and implementing prevention measures
· Working with registered nurse to deliver high quality care to patients
· Responsible in performing and coordination of patient admissions, transfers and discharges
· Responsible in addressing patient care needs:
o Dressing of wounds
o Collecting of vitals
o Managing catheters
o Administering prescribed medications and charting patient’s developments
o Responsible in maintaining strict patient data procedures in compliance with HIPAA laws
· Creating, developing and implementing daily operational workflow in compliance with state governing bodies
· Negotiates contracts and agreements with vendors and clients
· Streamlines operations to ensure maximized use of resources

· Maintaining patent airway for residents with tracheostomy ensuring normal level of ABG
· Providing tracheostomy care to prevent complications and infection by following standards for aseptic technique
· Monitoring of verbal and non verbal pain indicators and providing pharmacological and non pharmacological intervention as per doctor’s order
· Update patient medication charts to keep records current and support accurate treatments.
