• Handling ECMO patient and CRRT patients.
• Monitor the use of appropriate equipment, supplies, and advice to the Staff in the Intensive Care Units to prevent transmission of infection between patients and staff during work activities.
• Cardiac monitoring.
• Checking Random blood sugar.
• Taking 12 lead ECG (right-side &posterior).
• Maintain patient’s record, respecting privacy & confidentiality.
• Drug calculation & administration (oral, parenteral & topical).
• Giving chest physiotherapy & suctioning (oropharyngeal &nasopharyngeal).
• Monitoring fluid balance.
• Care of patient on ventilator.
• Care of patient on chest drainage.
• Assisting for procedures like insertion & removal of central venous and arterial line, cut down (brachial, femoral, subclavian), orotracheal and nasotracheal intubation, Insertion of oral and nasotracheal airway, chest drainage tubes etc.
• Handling and providing care for various neurology or neurosurgery patients.
• Frequently act as a team leader and preceptor to new staffs.

· Assisting doctors for major and minor procedures. Eg, Nasogastric tube insertion, tracheostomy tube insertion etc

· Care of patients on ventilator support.

· Applying DC version, Taking 12 lead ECG

· Admission of patients in the hospital procedure, admission medicine and thrombolytic therapy.

· Taking care of admission and discharge patients.

· Assigning duties for unit staff

· Conducting and coordinating nursing education programme.

· Served as resource, mentor, and preceptor to new nursing staff. Provided guidance, supervision, advice and technical support.

· Plan and coordinate unit activities

External and internal pacemaker Arrhythmia recognition Resuscitation during cardiac & respiratory arrest, airway management.

External cardiac massage, cardioversion, defibrillation.

Nasogastric tube feeding.

Giving active & passive exercise.

Female urinary catheterization.

Patient and family teaching

Intravenous cannula insertion under aseptic technique

· Handling of infusion pump, syringe pump and cardiac monitoring

· Care of patients with respiratory, gastrointestinal and urological condition

· Ensures nursing is practiced in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintains confidentiality as appropriate.

· Ensures performance of nursing practice is in line with the facility,

· Manages nursing care in response to client’s needs supported by nursing knowledge, research and reflective practice.

· Urinary catheterization and IV cannulation

· Maintain Records and reports.
