I started coaching in 2017 at the YMCA. I was signing my daughter Brooklyn up and they asked if I would be interested in coaching. I volunteered to coach and continued from there. I coached soccer and basketball and had dominant winning seasons throughout. Even though it was just the YMCA, I pushed the girls to get better each game. I would evaluate any issues during games, Basketball and Soccer, and work on that the next practice to ensure progression the next game. I coached the same group of girls each season and would even move my younger ones up to the next age group to keep them together knowing that they would be playing together through middle school and High School. After I stopped coaching at the YMCA i moved to coaching for Furman United. The Girls I coached at the YMCA came with me to Furman. After coaching a few seasons there I then received the Girls Soccer Coaching job at Northwest which still included my girls from previous seasons. That gave me an advantage to know my girls and continue to progress their skills and I was able to incorporate new players into the team and build a fluent and aggressive style play. I monitor each practice and game very closely to find any weaknesses and when I see them we work on fixing them. I do what I can to build the players on and off the field, to give 110%, and be the best person and player they can be on and off the field.
