Identifies training needs by applying the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process which is an essential part of keeping courses relevant as well as addressing any gaps that may affect performance in the field for two academic courses within the Signal Corps.
Responsible for the coordination between the Signal Support Specialist Course Subject Matter Experts and the Training Development Department to design and restructure training based on results from the Critical Task Site Selection Board, Centers of Lessons Learned, Coaching, on site interviews and needs of the Army.
Identifies required resources to include manning, equipment, and facilities for the development process which is essential in providing the necessary data needed for the development of the Course Administrative Data (CAD), which is a requirement in developing the required budget approved by Congress.
Responsible for managing cost by reviewing annual student loads which will identify resources and submitting data for the annual Structured Manning Decision Review (SMDR) process to the stakeholders for final decision for approval of the next three-year fiscal budget which will facilitate an average annual student input of 17,000 students.
Serves as a member of the evaluation team that ensures all courses meets accreditation standards according to TRADOC and the American Education Council (ACE) by conducting classroom observation, evaluating course documents to include Programs of Instructions (POI), CADs, Lesson Plans, student records, as well as testing procedures. Providing feedback on results through briefings to course leads, supervisors, and managers.
Primary Subject Matter Expert in coordination of data collection and providing expert knowledge for the Research Triangle to design and develop a 3.4-million-dollar simulation project.
