I was born and raised in the area where I live and work currently. I came home after leaving the area following college. My medical education and training were in northeast cities, followed by cardiology training in rural Pennsylvania. Following a short time working in rural upstate New York, I moved with my wife to work in Everett, Washington. I enjoyed the challenge of a very busy practice and starting a family. Despite really liking my job, and where I lived, I moved "home" so my young children could know their family.
I still enjoy my job and where I live.
I am a full time noninvasive, board certified cardiologist working at my current location for just over 20 years . I am in a practice with 4 other cardiologists and 2 APRNs. We share call at the small community hospital located a short walk from our office.
I practice general cardiology, with excellent subspecialty cardiology care available.
I practiced invasive, noninterventional cardiology in Everett, WA. In addition to general cardiology office practice, I was busy doing diagnostic heart catheterization and intra-operative TEE.
I moved to Westerly, RI to be closer to family.
My first job after completing cardiology fellowship was for a large private practice group that had responsibility in five hospitals. I made the decision to leave this practice early due to poor practice design and antiquated compensation policies.
