Jon Sklaroff

I was born and educated in New York City, before moving to Los Angeles to work in the entertainment industry. In school I excelled in sports, as I was my high school's top athlete, winning multiple awards and trophies. I then continued with sports in college before a knee injury derailed my career, and was forced to focus on my studies, most notably in English and Writing. After graduating Columbia I started a theatre company called Workhouse in the Tribeca neighborhood of NYC, before I began getting paid work. I have now been a professional and working actor since 1996, with extensive experience in stage, film, and television, having done over 25 plays, 17 movies, 75 episodes of television, and dozens of commercials. I have also been a professional & paid writer since 2015, and a member of the WGA (Writer's Guild), having sold a script to Miramax about Jack The Ripper, and then winning the job of adapting Quentin Tarantino and Elmore Leonard's Jackie Brown for television. And recently I was a writer & producer on a television series on the SyFy Network called, Reginald The Vampire. Whether before the camera or behind, I believe one constant in my career has been a focus on collaboration and adaptability, with a goal of seamless teamwork and effective communication.

Acting Teacher/Coach in Los Angeles.  For various youth groups in Los Angeles area. 

Head Coach in the BHBL (The Beverly Hills Basketball League).  This is a youth league (4-11 years old).

Head Coach RBA (The Roxbury Baseball Association).  This is a youth league (4-11 years old).

Counselor at Camp Wildwood in Maine, where I was a group leader and basketball coach.  (This was during college years)
