Work History

Air Traffic Controller

I served as a shift leader at Lowe Tower, located at Fort Novosel, which is the Army's flight school training site. Lowe Army Heliport specifically conducts H-60 Blackhawk training for all Army pilots. Lowe Tower is one of 24 towers operated by personnel stationed at Fort Novosel, and it's known for being one of the most complex places to manage air traffic. This is due to the high volume of traffic and the 13 inbound and outbound corridors.
