- As an Accuracy Control Technician 2, my work areas are primarily in the Shell shop, Outfitting Hall and the 7 Platen.
- My responsibilities are currently checking shells, bulkheads, pipe foundations & assemblies for level, girthing & squareness.
- On assemblies, I also check bulkheads for plumbness & outside shells for Sight edge placement.
- Once the jobs have been surveyed, the information is then scanned into the “IPDAR” system and the information is input for the receiving customer.
- I have experience utilizing the “MOOR system to find locations of assemblies, “Excel” & “Microsoft Word”to keep track of jobs I am working in my area and “Command Media” for outlines of my job responsibilities.
- I use “ACCURATE” every day & I am also set up with “Okta Verify”, “Trellix” & “Zscaler”.
- I have been a tech 2 since April 27, 2020, but have been in the department for about 10 years.
