My current Position at USA Baseball has been a huge learning experience for me. I play a big role in the day to day operations at the National Training Complex in Cary, NC. My job includes overseeing 21 hourly workers as well as assisting in all of the behind the scenes work that goes into ensuring efficiency for USA Baseball's tournaments that are held during the summer. At MWC Sports Complex I excelled as a Trainer/Coach, specializing in one-on-one sport specific lessons, weight training and speed development with teenage athletes. I also coached kids ranging from ages 3 to 15 in various sports and ran multiple different camps. I took pride in sharing my knowledge with the kids and enhancing youth athletic performance. Demonstrating strong leadership and effective communication, I significantly contributed to all my roles, whether it was coaching the youth or setting everything up for a 6-hour game day. I've spent four years playing college football at Lenoir-Rhyne University and Catawba College and spent two years on the Dean's List at LRU. I believe being a student athlete in college has helped me develop the most important skills to be able to carry over into the workplace such as work ethic, discipline and resilience.
