Work History

Mechanical Designer (Engineering/DTED)

Lawrence Livermore Nat’l Lab
09.2018 - Current
  • Created and controlled the concepts and designs of numerous device assemblies and tooling apparatuses for, but not limited to, projects supporting the LEP /specifics of which project and how may be disclosed in-person/
  • Generated, mandated, and maintained multiple legacy projects for the LEP
  • Projects are mainly managed through Creo Windchill servers i.e. ELM-U, ELM-C
  • Acted as principal mechanical designer and split time as the mechanical engineer with team analysts for Practicum 6
  • Practicum 6 was a unique lab funded project that required a brand new hypothetical system using limited resources and followed strict parameters including knowledge, target, and objective
  • Findings and final reports from our team, along with teams from LANL, AWE were presented at relevant entities include ODNI, NNSA, CIA, DIA, and Sandia ABL
  • Currently one of two members in DTED that are representatives/liaisons for the MBIT/MCAD enterprise initiatives
  • Currently a member of the manufacturing rotation program at LLNL
  • Working as lead designer in a small faction with IT / ELM team members to create a lab wide part catalog library called PartsLink. PartsLink is designed to be the equal of McMaster-Carr but for the lab enterprise only

Production & Design Engineering Intern

Rando Productions
05.2016 - 08.2016
  • Created and controlled manifest for the equipment used for China Star’s “The Voice: China” project
  • Established a supplier network and facilitated communications between purchasing and production teams
  • Generated and reviewed 3d CAD models using GD&T for a Disney project
  • Completed and industrialized an individual design project for a Shrink-wrap tube holder prototype at no extra cost
  • The prototype is designed to store and protect delicate materials while utilizing previously unused space

Manufacturing Process and Design Engineering Intern

Johanson Dielectrics
05.2015 - 08.2015
  • Organized and administered a compound project for testing an alternative Flex-term material that resulted in the reduction of failures caused by bend stresses between the capacitor and the circuit board
  • Executed quality tests to detect performance defects in certain capacitor designs and experimented with potential solutions to meet customers' needs

Manufacturing Process and Design Engineering Intern

Johanson Dielectrics
05.2014 - 08.2014
  • Completed Design of Experiments for quality performance of circuit and capacitor materials
  • Created, updated, and remodeled different procedures for production testing of capacitors
  • The procedure upgrades and remodels initiated applying resource management and human relation skills
