Watershed Management Project

• Worked in a group of 4 to implement sediment, pollution, and flood reducing green strategies within the Leon Creek Watershed in San Antonio.
• Were under the confines of a predetermined budget so cost-benefit discussions were held.
• Utilized "Model my Watershed" to locate high impervious zones to replace with rain gardens and vegetative infiltration basins.
• Finalized project was then presented in front of the classroom to simulate a proposal to stakeholders.

Fish Ecophysiology Lab: January 2024 - Current

• Assists in lab measuring gender, carapace length, chela length and wet/dry weights of non-native crayfish Faxonius virilis.
• Inputs data into logs and reenters collected data into a cohesive excel sheet.
