Jonas Swanson

After planning and embarking on our first DIY tour of the US and Canadian west coast in 2019, I have toured extensively in several different countries with my band, The Backseat Lovers. With the group, I've had the chance to open for acts like Jack White and The Arctic Monkeys, as well as play to sold-out crowds of our own as a headlining act in venues ranging from a few hundred to 6,000 capacity. I've developed strong bonds and communication skills with my bandmates and the team we've built around us as we've worked together creatively and professionally to put on shows amidst the unpredictable and highly demanding lifestyle of being on the road. I've learned to be adaptable in new and uncomfortable situations, and I have made it a habit and high priority to pay close attention to those around me and check in with them often.

Since 2018, I have recorded one EP, one live album, and two studio albums with The Backseat Lovers, the last of which was released under Capitol Records after we signed with them in 2022.

With 10 years of experience writing and recording music with several different groups, I am a proficient multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and collaborator.

Used training and knowledge to quickly and properly identify the source of water, mold, and sewage damage on job sites.

Operated specialized equipment to remove hazardous material, complete necessary demolition, and mitigate further damage.

Thoroughly documented the nature and extent of damage and drew sketches of affected areas for insurance estimates.

Followed safety protocols (ex. wearing PPE, sampling for lead & asbestos testing) when handling and disposing of hazardous materials.

Used critical thinking and problem solving on a daily basis to engage with a wide variety of different situations.
