My educational experience consists of a BA in Political Science, while being the first person in my family with a bachelor's degree. My area of study revolved around the regulatory practices of the United States and conflict resolution around the world.

I am a very active member of my Catholic church community, both here at Baylor and in my hometown of Bremond, Texas. Examples of this include being an altar server for eighteen years and helping with numerous church-organized events, such as the fall bazaar and the Easter egg hunt.
