• After retiring from UPS , I started my own Art business. I can do any media, and any type of Art. I Paint personal portraits of customers pets, I custom paint model cars, I draw and paint portraits of people. I also paint musical instruments, helmets, Etc.
• Marketed artwork through brochures, mailings or websites.

My first 7 years at UPS I worked on the Pre-Load shift. This was part time.(Around 5:00 a.m. to 9:a.m.). While I was working on the pre-load , I also installed residential and Commercial flooring as a Sub- Contractor for Parker Furniture in Laurinburg N.C. The remaining 22 years at UPS I was a Package Delivery Driver. I also served on the Safety committee for the majority of the years at UPS. UPS was very fast pass. Delivery commitment times were a focal point, alone with customer service. I enjoyed my 29 years of service there.

• Before working at Advance Auto Parts I already had a good knowledge of vehicle mechanics. I learned a lot more about the automotive industry and the differences between the manufactures while working as a counter clerk. Then I was promoted as Battery Specialist, were I learned more about chemical reactions. Then I was promoted to Shift Manager were I learned about Public Relations and staff management. I enjoyed my time at Advance Auto Parts and the skills I learned.
