Wholesale Operations Manager
- Facilitated receiving and shipping of products. Receiving products from multiple vendors and sending out shipments to multiple customers.
- Organized work crews to receive shipments outside of our facility
- Took part in receiving product into our system, making it available in our inventory. Receiving also ensured vendor payment
- Responsible for running work orders, i.e. Transferring whole fish to fillet once processed. Running these work orders created pricing for fillets.
- Received customer payments, and issued credits when necessary.
- Invoiced customer orders.
- Oversaw quality control, made sure product was being rotated properly and made decisions on whether particular product was up to standards.
- Communicated with vendors regarding quality issues, returns and shipment troubles.
- Was in charge of inventory in multiple facilities, which was key for sales team and purchasing. Making inventory adjustments accordingly.
- Managed over 15 employees in one shift.
- Submitted reports to owner to aid in business decision-making and planning.
