Jonathan Chiu (邱柏融）

As the secretary and the co-founder, my main task is to arrange events such as parties, game nights, and banquets. In addition, I frequently attend meetings with

our club advisor every week to discuss our next events, where I am responsible for setting up our club's booth on campus. Moreover, I have acquired

organizational and leadership skills.

I traveled around Taipei and visited elders who lived on their own. I help deliver supplies and food for them. Moreover, I had conversations with some of the elders who are undergoing depression, and I tried to smooth their feelings by having a nice chat with them.

I helped patients complete their health check-up processes by guiding them, which included blood pressure and height/weight. Furthermore, I helped the doctors and nurses manage medical equipment by organizing them in order. Finally, this experience taught me about my organizing and managing skills.

Moonshine Studio is a design company specializing in VFX and motion design. The company also has other various design programs, such as anime design and interior design. I was responsible for proposing ideas for the design projects, such as animation and interior design. In addition, I built a strong foundation in 3D/graphic design through platforms like Wix and Adobe. Furthermore, I developed solid presentation and communication skills by collaborating with my co-workers.

AmeriKids Private English School is an institution that teaches lower-level students grammar, science, reading, math, and history. They are dedicated to helping local school students to improve their English in different subjects. Through my volunteer service, I am dedicated to teaching by assisting the teacher with class management, prop preparation, and event planning. Additionally, I guide students through their homework/assignments by breaking down the questions. Furthermore, I have developed patience and active listening which sparked my interest in English teaching.
