Throughout my high school and college career, I was involved in baseball. I feel this experience helped me to develop my ability to work as part of a team. As a pitcher, I also learned how to adapt to situations and make split second decisions as each game evolved. However, law enforcement had the greatest influence on me as I grew up in a law enforcement family. My goal has always been to become a police officer. With this career path in mind, I have always sought out opportunities to support my goal. I feel that earning my degree in Criminal Justice as well as being involved in baseball has done just that.
