After my work in the Packaging department was completed, I was given the opportunity to handle our maintenance software along with other projects such as:

• Tracking maintenance issues using E-Maint Software.
• Assigning work requests.
• Creating Preventative Maintenance plans and schedules for all equipment - these were daily, weekly, monthly, as well as annual plans.
• I created a catalog system, connecting maintenance inventory and spare parts to it's location in the plant, to it's location in E-Maint.
• Logged all inventory daily.
• Ordered supplies and spare parts upon request daily.

- Unfortunately my time in the Maintenance department came to an end at the start of the pandemic. My position was laid off, and I was given the option to continue working in Paint department as an NC Operator as I had learned how to operate the saw in the past.

During my time in the Packaging department, it was my responsibility to adjust the process to create a strong, efficient department. To achieve this, I did the following:

• I created (and built myself) carts for each work station, in order to keep all materials needed to complete a work order within an arms reach. Before, associates needed to get these materials from several locations in the plant for each order. Now that the materials are at their stations at all times, the time it takes to complete a bundle has been significantly reduced.
• I developed a 90-day training system for the department complete with information about the materials we use and why we use it, how to pack bundles and read work instructions, and instructions on how to properly inspect material. Each instruction included a visual aid, so new associates would have the ability to identify the material that was coming to them and how to pack it correctly.

As a Foreman I oversaw a team of 5 associates on our extrusion press. My duties included:

• Running material within the customer's specifications.
• Ensuring quality is met.
• Completing paperwork and imputing data into EPICS (billets ran, pieces extruded per the requirements of the customer's order).
• Scheduling breaks for the team.

I loaded multiple semi trailers at a time with product.

Reason for Leaving: I moved too far to make the commute.

• Running the press, and troubleshooting any problems that may have came up throughout the shift.

Reason for Leaving: Layoff due to low seniority - I was called back for this position, but I had moved so I was not able to return.

• I handled store marketing and promotion.
• Running shifts and day to day activities.
• Cashing out all tills, balancing the safe, and bringing the profit for the day to the bank.
• Scheduling breaks for all associates on the floor.
• Tracking hours vs. labor to ensure we had the correct number of associates on the floor at that time.
• Monthly inventory.
