One achievement I’m proud of is learning how to balance school and work at the same time. It wasn’t easy at first, but I got better at managing my time and staying organized. At my last job, I learned things pretty quickly and started getting more comfortable handling different tasks during busy times. It felt good knowing I could keep up and be someone the team could rely on. That really helped boost my confidence.
I cleaned my station, counted shrimp, cut sausage, added butter, boiled seafood in different pots, monitored cook times, scooped potatoes, corn, crab, and lobster, peeled corn, added the right amounts of ingredients to each pot, helped restock the truck, helped with the truck’s tasks, kept everything clean, and assisted with food prep and service.
