As a former Motor Transport Operator with the US Army, I excel in high-pressure environments, demonstrating leadership, effective communication, and empathy. My military background has honed my tactical planning and convoy defense skills, making me uniquely suited for roles requiring precision, compassion, and team dynamics.
Recently transitioned out of the military with the intention of majoring in psychology and building a career in the field. The upcoming spring semester will be my final semester before completion of my associates and transferring to University. I am seeking employment in the field of psychology to gain experience and build my knowledge while I continue to pursue my education.
Though my work history has largely been composed of my military service, there are certainly unique skills that I possess that I believe are highly relevant in the field of psychology
First and foremost, I have experience in supervising and leading teams, which translates well to group dynamics and leadership roles in various settings
I am also an effective communicator both verbally and in writing
I pride myself on my ability to stay calm under pressure and to handle high-pressure situations
And possibly the most valuable trait of all, I possess empathy and compassion for others which has always allowed me to remain patient when dealing with others, and to always focus on and see the good in them
