• Instruct Grades K-5th up to 50 students (double class). Collaborate daily with a co-teacher to plan and implement unit and lesson plans that meet local, state and national physical education standards. Planned class activities that were both educational and fun for all participants involved. Encouraged positive behavior by creating an inclusive environment where all students felt safe and respected.
• Assessed student performance using four point scale rubrics at the end of the unit and on a quarterly basis and other evaluation tools.
• Attend monthly School Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings. Attended physical education professional development opportunities provided through LCPS.

• K-5th Grade instruct up to 24 students per class. Plan and implement various units/lesson plans in accordance with local, state and national health and physical education standards and incorporating Five for Life Curriculum and Civil Air Patrol (ACE) PE lessons.
• Assesses students on a daily and trimester basis using four-point rubrics. Incorporate various types of technology into health and physical education class. Co-teach with fellow staff members daily.
• Attend staff meetings, school and content-based professional development opportunities including STEAM PD. Created PE MVP of the month reward program and monthly Health & PE Newsletter.

• Implemented lesson plans provided by the teacher and instructed up to 40 students. Maintained an atmosphere that was conducive to everyday learning in the classroom with appropriate discipline measures applied when necessary.
