Community Life Saving Award
I responded to a violent scene where one lady was shot in the stomach. The patient declined rapidly and was going into shock. I made quick on scene assessment, and made decisions based on access and location of best facility for transport and patient care needs.
During congested evening traffic I was able to get the patient to the closest appropriate facility in record time. The hospital staff and doctors were the ones who gave me this award and recognition.
