A BarIsta traIner workIng In this field for almost 2 years. My goal is to continue working and developing my skills and position at Starbucks. I've been taking the steps and giving my all to promote to a supervisor for almost 2 years, became a barista trainer almost a year ago. A partner I trained was for another store. I went to that store and connected with one of the shifts there. i explained how I was the trainer for one of their partners and they complemented me on how well i trained him and how good he is doing at that location. i work diligently to ensure that my team knows standards and ensure customer satisfaction by explaining and teaching in the moment. I consistently have active communications with my shift team and my manager to help me take the steps needed to further my development. Coaching in the moment, assessing bottlenecks, and creating a welcoming environment have been what I've been working on and have been complimented on by my higher ups. I have a passion for this company. Creating a welcoming environment for the customers, my team and myself. And my goal is to continue my passion going up each level at this wonderful company.
In this position, I started off as a seasonal employee. I learned how to quickly move around efficiently and safely in a small space while carrying up to 50 pounds. Worked in a fast paced environment with 100+ employees at a time. Arrived on time for shifts and adhered to company dress code guidelines. Worked together with others to build pallets and cartons to safeguard large items for transport. Labeled containers with item numbers and shipping data. I devoted myself to pursue ongoing training to enhance own job skills and knowledge.
