Clean start tools according to F-35 work orders handed down from supervisors, with Freekote, scrap resin stuck onto the tool, and apply fresh breather.
Bring clean tools into the layup clean room, set up lasers, and lay up glass/adhesive material in the time-oriented area according to the work order instructions on the computer. Inspecting my own parts, making sure they are up to standards.
Make reusable compaction bags during the build until completing the part, and then make a final bag using thermocouples, probes, and vacuum connections while checking for leaks. Readying the part for the autoclave run.
Loading and unloading parts from the autoclave/ovens using cranes and tugs to start the next run, using work order recipes, and ensuring the part meets the specifications set by engineering.
Debagging and demolding parts from tools using a hammer, chisels, and paddles, making sure not to damage the part. Leaving the tool clean for the next technician.
Training employees in the layup room and autoclaves, meeting Lockheed Martin standards.
