I volunteered to take the role as Shell Line Group Leader after some unforeseen circumstances. I once again immersed my self in the role learning all aspects of the department and utilizing my leadership skills and learned continuous improvement training to makeit successful and more efficient . I have also trained in other departments to help cover when other Group Leaders are off with similar successes maintain line efficiency and integrity.
After taking a temporary learning role to the Fabrication Department I was asked if I would be interested in advancing my career as a Group Leader. I accepted the role as Cap Line Group Leader and immersed my self learning and and honing my leadership skills and learning how to manage my line utilizing my continuous improvement training and implementing them in my department.
I became the Large Press Team Leader and strive to be the best at the position . I made it my passion the learn and absorb as much knowledge in this role. I learned Kaizen and lean principles through out my time as the Team Leader through many continuous improvement assignments wether though events or my three month assignment in the continuous improvement department . With my hard work and dedication and loyalty I was asked and served as a Temporary Group Leader on several occasions due to unforeseen circumstances and excelled in the day to day operations of the Stamping Plant
I started at the Stamping Plant as a small press department operator and learned all this skills in that department before transferring the large press department . Once I became a large press operator I mastered every position and gain knowledge to help me transition in to my next roll in the Stamping Plant as a Team Leader through my hard work ethic.
I Joined the Marine Corps to serve in capacity to help our country maintain a safe and stable country. If there was ever a need to defend our country I was ready for the task. I was assigned to a communications unit as a motor transport Driver/Mechanic. I enjoyed every minute I was able to spend with my fellow Marines. I was also proud to serve in a volunteer capacity with the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program for the under privilege children.
