Summary

Currently, I serve as my district's Lead Behavior Specialist supervising a team of three three Behavior Specialist and two Behavior Coaches. I and my team support 23 campuses in behavior support intervention at the Tier 3 Levels of Intervention. I do hold the certification as a Boytown Specialized Classroom Management Training trainer as I support our thirteen self-contained classrooms that support students with intensive skill deficits that impede the learning of themselves and others in the learning environment. In addition, I also hold the certification as a Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor. I train many individuals across all educational settings in de-escalating intensive situations and intervening with safety interventions for risk behaviors to promote safety to all areas of our schools. I do hold experience in an administrative, supervisory role, in the previous two years serving as the Administrator for Extended School Year (ESY) services through the summer of 2022 and 2023. I am currently enrolled at Arizona State University obtaining my Masters of Arts in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) and will be graduating in May of 2024. I am concurrently acquiring the 2000 supervision hours needed to sit for the BCBA examination.
