My name is Jonathan Pribula. I am a twenty year old student athlete studying business marketing at St. Cloud State University.
I am looking to find a internship position in the Human Resource department for the summer of 2025. My neighbor Eric Frankberg, a member of the Polaris team, has spoke very highly about your company and sparked an interest in me to pursue a career in the leading powersport industry.
My role consisted of assisting bartenders with drink preparation tasks, resulting in faster service for patrons. Throughout my time at the restaurant I learned to better communicate with managers, co-workers, and customers to ensure better productivity. I worked with a wide age range of people, becoming close and friends with them to better preform my job. I consistently asked for more hours during week days and week nights because of my liking of the position and the atmosphere it presented.
My role at Turck was to started and completed mass orders of sensory parts often shipped to Ford or John Deer. This was my first time working a forty hour work week with overtime on weekends. In order to exceed at my position, I was able to build a positive relationship with my supervisor to better understand my role and expectations. My position required me to work as a team with fellow coworkers. Because of this, I was able to meet and bond with a variety of people from different ethnic backgrounds of all ages.
Baseball has always been a passion of mine. I often umpired over summers to not only make some money on the side, but to give back to the baseball community. I umpired a variety of ages from eight year olds to high school. I would always make a effort to talk with coaches, players, or parents to make ensure the game moved smoothly. Umpiring also taught me how to address my mistakes. If I made a bad call, resulting in parents or coaches to be upset, I would take ownership and not let it effect me going forward.
I started mowing my neighbors lawn at a young age. Other people around the block started to catch on and offered to pay me to mow theirs once or twice a week. At my peak, I mowed up to four different lawns. Some neighbors were so impressed with my work they asked me to do other maintenance like pressure washing, shoveling in the winter, and planting flowers. This was my first time interacting with people older than me, positively setting me up for future work.
