My first experience with GE equipment was on the 5X Platform. Yes I remember the old days of the orange touchscreen. Work with subsequent models, 9x and Excite. Then enjoyed the 450W. My earliest experience with Siemens is the Impact Expert. I've also worked on the Symphony, Espree, Aera, Skyra, and Sola.

• As Lead MRI technologist focuses on management of cost and finance, human resources, routine operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient/client and staff satisfaction at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
• System wide Imaging Employee of the Month in June 2017 at Piedmont Healthcare.
• Coordinate bi-monthly with Piedmont Newnan Imaging Lead technologist to reduce cost, reduce waste, streamline care all with patient centered focus
• Educated patients on procedure details, provided instructions and answered questions to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.
• On committee that crafted policy for vetting and scanning patients with CEID’s and other implants safely
• Coordinate daily with central scheduling, ep-cardiology, nursing and providers to ensure safety of patients with CEIDS .
• Coordinated successfully transferring of Piedmont Henry inpatients to Piedmont Newnan to scan during Piedmont Henry MR scanner downtime. Using system wide communication tools to facilitate the process safely.
• Restarted MR guided breast biopsy program at Piedmont Newnan. Then supported the transfer of this procedure to 3T scanner @ Piedmont Newnan Outpatient center.
• Successfully passed 2 accreditation with ARRT for MRI scanner at Piedmont hospital.
• Supported other modality leads with ARRT accreditation

• Reviewed physicians' orders to determine medical imaging needs and operated MRI equipment to capture, develop and produce diagnostic images.
• Authored a new set of JACHO compliant policy and procedures for new MR install
• Successfully started MR Breast Imaging service including biopsies at this facility.
• Worked with radiologist to implement optimized protocols for all exams on new magnet
• Worked with cardiologist to start cardiac MRI at this facility
