Additional Information

  • Toledo Glass Museum (Toledo, OH) - Project was unique in design and the concrete was designed to be artwork itself. Helped coordinate with design engineer for rebar that was in first floor beams. The beams were an intricate design and limited space for rebar while still maintaining design. Scheduling rebar fabrication from 3 different facilities was challenging. I was required to manage multiple change orders and provide detailed information specifying the items in question.
  • Bay Park Hospital (Oregon, OH) - First large project that I was responsible for on my own. Worked with customer to handle design changes and design errors to keep project on schedule. Created and manage multiple change orders.
  • Johnson Controls Addition (Holland, OH) – Project was being designed as it was being built. Drawings needed to be turned around quickly and accurately do to material being fabricated as shop drawings are being reviewed. Very few revisions were required of fabricated material.
  • Big River Steel II (Osceola, AR) – Project was 632 miles from our fabrication facility. The project was designed in metric which I converted to imperial for estimating and detailing purposes. The project required 43 detailed drawings and 9 deliveries. I had to be very accurate on the detailing of the material and be very hands on with our shop to be sure the material was fabricated accurately and all of the material was loaded on the truck to stay in budget. We were able to stay within budget and hit the profit goals I had figured for the project.
  • Quoting over 350+ projects per year and managing over 250+ projects per year over 10+ years – No matter if it is a 2’ piece of rebar or 30+ ton project, I treated each project with the same importance. Each project I managed quoting / detailing / listing / fabrication / delivery and costing.
