
Professionally provides therapeutic interventions and assessments to variety of clients. Skills including creating individualized treatment plans to maximize client's independence and wellbeing. Focused on using therapeutic approaches to help clients reach highest potential.
● Provide direct and indirect supervision to certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs).
● Formally evaluate and assess students aged 3-21 within their educational setting with standardized and non standardized assessments, developed attainable or measurable goals for each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
● Evaluate sensory and motor skills specifically related to fine motor, postural stability, visual perception, visual motor integration, praxis, sensory processing skills that impact a student's participation in his/her educational curriculum.
● Providing treatment planning, direct treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications for students with disabilities to improve performance within their education setting.
● Provide treatment strategies for children with a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, and Developmental Delays
● Administer occupational therapy evaluations including Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, Second Edition (PDMS-2), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2™), and Sensory Profile
●Identify and document clients' initial evaluation, goals, progress to date based on assessments, medical history, and caregiver interview
● Collaborate with parents and family members to identify meaningful goals and implement treatment plans
