Responsibilities: Coordinate/lead monthly ICU DOC meetings between ARH system ICU Directors, providers and team members, act as a resource for other ICU Directors and staff, develop and disseminate policy and procedure updates, critical care education, team building and collaborative networking, report up to ARH system CNO group quarterly, analyzed performance metrics to drive improvements in ICU service delivery and resource allocation.
Responsibilities: direct ICU operational workflow, ensure compliance with evidenced based practice, healthcare regulations and quality standards, ensure compliance with hospital policies through audits and PI, staff scheduling, payroll, unit budget to align resources with organizational goals, unit productivity, onboarding (recruitment and retention strategies, interviewing, candidate selection, orientation, competencies for new hires), performance evaluation and disciplinary process, foster staff professional development via education/certifications, oversight of patient care, bedside and EMR audits/data collection, participation in multiple interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care and improve outcomes, ordering supplies/equipment, collaborate with ancillary departments to provide patient care, ensure customer satisfaction and service recovery efforts are optimized, mentor new directors through orientation process and provide ongoing support,
Responsibilities: start up of new program within the facility, development of policies and procedures, ensure regulatory requirements and compliance were met, training/education of staff including ancillary, nursing and providers, data abstraction, developed tracking documents, evaluate program effectiveness via analyzed performance metrics and identified strategies for process improvement, fostered relationships between facility and community resources and services, lead monthly interdepartmental meetings, coordinate with external leaders, organized community events to support the goal of improved community cardiac and stroke risk health.
