Took dishes from the dish table or glasses from the over head rack, also untensils from their rack. Pushed them through the dishwasher in their racks, and then loaded the dishes to the servers. In the morning before washing dishes I mopped in the back and front of house, also cleaning and restocking the bathrooms.

I worked for four years at this location starting as a Busser. That position changed to Server Assistant. Later on with Benihana I became a Dishwasher or Dish-Utilities employee. I would clean and set tables with plates and folded red table towels with chopsticks, at least eight per table. At the end of the night, I would clean the grills, mop around tables, and vacuum the floors or carpets. As a dishwasher I controlled the actual dishwashing machine. I also carried the dishes, utensils, and glasses to the servers for the other dishwasher if they were washing the dishes. In the mornings I mopped the entire restaurant and cleaned the bathrooms before opening, and made sure tables were set correctly. Once, I made the onion volcano on the grill, peeled shrimp occasionally, and also made salads. I even got rice from the rice maker into a bowl for customers who asked, refilled drinks, and set out the water pitchers, and also took a lot of photos for customers. I was terminated due to complaints, but I am currently employed at Albertsons where I work on average 32 hours per week or four days as a baker or Bakery Clerk. I was hoping I could have an opportunity to be interviewed to work three days at Benihana per week or up to 36 hours, if possible I would like to discuss this in the interview process.
