Summary

Throughout my career since completing College in 2010, I have been associated and engaged in jobs that involve critical thinking, problem solving, all while maintaining consistent communication between coworkers. I have evolved into an experienced and diverse professional with strong leadership and relationship-building skills. Throughout this course of time, I have had the privilege of working with both the elderly, middle aged, and the young. Along with having people skills, I maintain and show consistent time management when arriving to work, completing tasks that I was handed, and meeting deadlines in the workforce.

Work History

Account Manager

PCC, Inc
Castlewood, SD
08.2015 - 01.2018
In my previous job, I had the title of a detail oriented Account Manager/Team Leader where I performed daily tasks of keeping Provider Accounts charged and billed to various insurances along with reviewing and processing daily tasks to ensure all accounts were kept clean and precise. Monthly reports were generated and distributed to multiple Providers to inform cash flow from their previous month, as well as an overview of outstanding balances not resolved or paid by insurances. While performing this job, I had to maintain professionalism by interacting with incoming patient calls when necessary, sharing education to the Provider when a question would occur, and also maintain a professional relationship with co-workers by reviewing their work and providing feedback on what direction to work next with their assigned accounts.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Aegis Therapies
Watertown, SD
03.2012 - 08.2015
During my OTA Career, I provided care at multiple facilities and Nursing Homes, as we served many locations around the area. My most recent position was held at the Neighborhoods of Brookview In Brookings, SD. I assisted with providing therapeutic care to a wide range of geritaric patients. I completed daily documentation for each individual person that explained their progress from day to day during therapy, while also implementing aggressive and productive exercises/activities in order to improve the patient's quality of life and day to day activities. Examining patients progression and assisting my supervising OT was a daily occurrence. This allowed me to not only use my individual problem solving skills for patient's, it also allowed me to interact with my fellow co-workers to provide a positive environment and outcome for our patients.
