- I got hired initially as a line lead. I did get forklift certified during my training period. Due to personal reasons at home, I had to switch to a day shift job and became a label inspector for QA. I inspected labels, sent labels out to other plants or to corporate for inspection and also occasionally to customers for inspections. I sent samples of concentrates to use to corporate. I was in contact via email with corporate or customers constantly. I also tested concentrates and documented them on QAD. I learned cycle counts for product we use.

- I started out working on the line for an 8 piece line and whole birds. I then learned the SPC tech job. I quickly became a floor person after learning that role then spent 9.5 years being the lead. I gave breaks, set the line up, did paperwork, kept track of downtime and was constantly working with QC and maintenance and USDA. I had to become really great with time management and also learning to work with a variety of people in a fast paced setting. I learned as much as I could in the production and quality aspect in order to be more efficient in the work I do.
