  • Responsible for all Logistical matters supporting five Company sized elements 450 Soldiers and 500 pieces of equipment
  • Established programs to receive, inventory, store, and issue supplies and equipment; supervised management of $2 billion worth of equipment using the Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) system
  • Coordinated with joint forces and Logistical Offices to redeploy and transport over 120 pieces of equipment from the CENTCOM AOR back to CONUS after mission completion in Operation Spartan Shield (OSS) and Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR)
  • Utilized multiple modes of transportation to include Air Transport, Line Haul, Barge Shipment, and Rail Transportation in accordance with DOD 4500.9-R
  • Worked with multiple mobility officers, transportation offices both CONUS and OCONUS, and Division budget representatives to select the most economically efficient routes and models of travel to meet higher command and budget office intent
  • Prepared and reviewed Transportation Control Movement Documents (TCMDs) such as the Operational Equipment List (OEL) and Unit Deployment List (UDL)
  • Properly annotated and prepared specialized paperwork for all hazardous materials in the master list to ensure consistency throughout loading and shipment of materials
  • Prepared and reviewed documentation for special handling equipment such as classified digital systems, phones, computers, and printers
  • Experience in determining qualification for LOGAIR or Air Transport versus Barge Transportation according to applicable timelines to meet mission deadlines and higher command’s intent

  • Due to the remote locations and current events while in the CENTCOM AOR, we had to utilized unconventional methods to ensure equipment got where it needed to be on time

  • Oversaw equipment movement to and from Fort Campbell, KY to 5 separate locations in Syria
  • Had to be creative and flexible to transport a wide variety of equipment utilizing a combination of methods such as: Syrian National GLOCs, Air Transport, and Line Haul transport
  • Experience with Bills of Lading and applicable shipping documents while working with multiple Transportation Offices both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Reviewed all shipment documents before shipment and worked with Transportation Offices and the 32nd Division G8 Budget Office to ensure transportation cost payments were fulfilled for all shipments
